  • Art Skills Wood Burning Kit

    • Thank you for your interest in using our ArtSkills Wood Burning Kit! This art kit included everything you need to start creating beautiful wood-burning art. Purchase the wood plaques at the circulation desk for 50 cents a piece or bring your own. Add your own designs or use the 5 traceable designs and transfer paper. Once you finished with the wood burner pen, you can add a splash of color to your with the watercolor paint set and paint brushes provided. 

      The following video will show you more about the ArtSkills Wood Burning Kit. If you would like additional training you can schedule one-on-one training with Maryann on Mondays from 1:00-7:00 or Fridays from 1:00-5:00.

  • Brother SE 600 Embroidery Machine Tutorial

    • Welcome to the Brother Se 600 Sewing and Embroidery Machine Tutorial.   

      This tutorial will teach you how to prepare for embroidery only. There is a separate tutorial for the sewing machine.  You do not need to be certified to use this machine but you must still take the MakerSpace Training and Safety and sign the Waiver of Liability and the User Agreement form before using the MakerSpace. 

      Thread can be purchased at the circulation desk for $1.00 per color or you can bring your own. The Stablaizer sheet can also be purchased for $1.00 per sheet or you can bring your own.

    • The following video tutorial will show you how to convert the Brother SE 600 from embroidery to sewing. You do not need to be certified to use this machine but you must still take the MakerSpace Training and Safety and sign the Waiver of Liability and the User Agreement form before using the MakerSpace. 

      Thread for either sewing or embroidery can be purchased at the circulation desk for $1 per color, you may also bring your own.

  • Button Maker

    • Thank you for your interest in using our Button Maker. The next few videos will show you how to use the button maker for different projects such as how to install and replace the molds, how to make bottle openers and fridge magnets, how to make a keychain, and how to make a pin back button for 3 different mold sizes ( 1 inch, 1.25 inch and 2.25 inch. 

      Buttons, keychains, bottle openers, and fridge magnets can be purchased at our front desk for 50 cents a piece. 

      If you would like to schedule a one-on-one training please contact Maryann. She is available for training on Mondays from 1:00-7:00 and Fridays from 1:00-5:00.

    • This tutorial will give you an overview of how to use the Cricut Explore Air 2. You do not need to be certified to use this machine but you must still take the MakerSpace Training and Safety and sign the Waiver of Liability and the User Agreement form before using the MakerSpace. 

      Heat Transfer Sheets can be purchased at the circulation desk for .75 cents or you can bring your own.

      Permeant Vinyl can be purchased at the circulation desk for $1.00 or you can bring your own.

      Cardstock can be purchased at the circulation desk for .25 cents or you can bring your own.
